François-Xavier Souvay

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

François-Xavier Souvay is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lumenpulse. In this capacity, he oversees global vision, corporate development and strategic planning, maintaining Lumenpulse's reputation for innovation and customer experience excellence.

A seasoned entrepreneur, Mr. Souvay has over 25 years of experience in the lighting industry. By age 23, he was already contributing to large commercial real estate projects in Montreal, and soon was recruited by a specification grade outdoor lighting company, where he established a network of agents and VARs in Canada and the United States. Leveraging this experience, he then acted as a consultant for various lighting companies across North America.

In 1999, he acquired Luxtec, a value-added reseller of diversified specification-grade lighting solutions, and was soon spearheading LED research and development. Focused on combining innovative technology expertise with strong industrial design, he founded Lumenpulse in 2006. The company has since established itself as the leading pure-play specification-grade LED lighting solution provider.

Mr. Souvay holds numerous patents in his name and is a well-known thought leader in the LED lighting industry. In 2015, He was awarded the EY Entrepreneur of the Year in Quebec.


Peter Timotheatos

Peter Timotheatos

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Peter Timotheatos is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lumenpulse. He is an experienced finance professional with a versatile financial and operational background. In addition to his role in managing the Company's overall finances and its information technology services, he provides strategic operational support and is responsible for merger and acquisition activities.

Mr. Timotheatos brings over 20 years of experience to the role with a strong background in corporate finance. Prior to joining Lumenpulse, Mr. Timotheatos was the Chief Financial Officer of Centre Agricole JLD Inc., an independent John Deere dealership group. Additionally, he served as Director, Corporate Development and Planning from 2008 to 2010, then as Vice President, Finance until 2011 and as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer until 2012 at Aveos Fleet Performance Inc. and as Chief Financial Officer at BCE Elix (a Bell Canada Company) from 2004 to 2007. In addition to his CPA, CA designation, he also holds Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations.

Mr. Timotheatos holds a Graduate Diploma in public accounting and a Bachelor's of Commerce in accounting from McGill University. He previously held the role of Senior Vice President Financial Planning, Analysis and Results at Lumenpulse, managing the Company's Financial Planning & Analysis group and the Results & Control organization.


Jean Clermont

Jean Clermont

General Manager, Lumenpulse

Jean Clermont oversees manufacturing, logistics and the Company's supply chain. He has over 28 years of experience in leading supply chain operations. He has expertise in negotiations, demand planning, sales and operations, logistics, project management, process enhancement and systems integration.

Previously, he was Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Aveos Fleet Performance Inc. where he was responsible for carving out the supply chain activities related to the maintenance, repair and overhaul of Air Canada devices, implementing inventory solutions, and creating distribution centers for Canada, the U.S., Mexico and Central America. Before Aveos, Mr. Clermont was Director of Global Optical Supply Chain Operations at Nortel Networks, a company he was with for 23 years.

Mr. Clermont holds an MBA from the Université de Sherbrooke as well as a certificate in Operations Management from HEC Montreal.


Dario Nistri

Dario Nistri

General Manager, Exenia

Dario Nistri is the Managing Director of Exenia. Founded in 2010, Exenia is an Italian brand that joined the Lumenpulse group in December 2015.

As Managing Director, Mr. Nisri supervises and manages all Exenia production activities, from product design to market positioning, including continuous product development and refinement.

Mr. Nistri lives and works in Italy, where he obtained a degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Florence. Immediately following his studies, he chose to continue his family's long tradition in the lighting industry, and now boasts nearly two decades of management experience in the sector.

Mr. Nistri's influence and foresight have seen him adopt key leadership roles in the companies with which he has worked, and Exenia is the result of his passion and hard work.


Reuben Bartlett

Reuben Bartlett

General Manager, Fluxwerx Illumination, Inc.

Reuben Bartlett is the General Manager of Fluxwerx Illumination Inc., which he joined at startup in 2011 and which became part of the Lumenpulse Group in 2016. Mr. Bartlett has over 20 years experience in various leadership roles across industries and has spent the last 10 years in the lighting sector in senior roles focused on business management and strategy, product development, product management, and sales and marketing management. 

Mr. Bartlett holds a Bachelors Degree in Sales and Marketing Management and is a Dean's List honors graduate from the MBA program at Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.


Joe Waldau

Joe Waldau

General Manager, Sternberg

Joe Waldau joined Sternberg in 1988, bringing with him a diverse background including experience in operations, administration, marketing, finance, and sales.  Waldau has over 40 years of executive leadership experience and holds a BA in Marketing from DePaul University and an MA in Business Administration from Roosevelt University. 

Under his leadership, Sternberg Lighting, which was established in 1923, has become a leader in the decorative outdoor lighting industry. In 1996, Waldau made it possible for Sternberg to become an ESOP, transforming the company from a single stockholder to be 100% employee-owned.


Mark Dean

Mark Dean

Chief Operating Officer, Sternberg

Mark Dean joined Sternberg Lighting in 2013, after serving as General Manager at Philips Lighting. He now oversees the day-to-day operations of the Sternberg facility.

With 38 years in the electrical industry, Mark Dean has worked in electrical distribution, manufacturing, and lighting agency roles. He has expertise in sales and marketing, negotiations, process development, product management, and business strategy.
